1. The agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and CodeOnAir (“CodeOnAir”, “we”, “us”). They cover the website at codeonair.com, the dashboard at dashboard.codeonair.com, our APIs, SDKs and CLI, and the links and updates we serve for your apps (together, the “Service”).
By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you use it for a company, you confirm you may accept them on its behalf, and “you” means that company. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old and give us accurate details, including a working email address.
- Keep your password, API keys and CLI access keys secret. You are responsible for everything done with them.
- Tell us straight away at support@codeonair.com if you think someone else has access to your account.
- You can invite team members to a workspace. The workspace owner controls who has access and is responsible for their use.
3. The Service
CodeOnAir provides tools for mobile apps, including:
- AppLinks — deep links, deferred deep links, Universal Links and App Links on our domains or yours, with analytics.
- CodePush — over-the-air updates of the JavaScript bundle and assets of React Native apps.
- App updates and remote config — update prompts and settings your app reads at run time.
Each plan has limits (for example link clicks, CodePush downloads, apps and team members), shown on the pricing page and in your dashboard. If you go over a limit we may ask you to upgrade. We don't stop redirecting links you have already shared just because a limit was reached, but features that are not in your plan stop working.
We improve the Service all the time and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature you pay for, we'll tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
4. Trials, plans and payment
- The Free plan costs nothing. New workspaces may get a free trial of a paid plan; no card is needed and you're not charged when it ends.
- Paid plans are billed in advance for the period you choose (monthly, half-yearly or yearly) and renew automatically for the same period until you cancel.
- Prices are shown in Indian rupees (₹) and US dollars ($). Taxes such as GST are added where the law requires and shown before you pay.
- Payments are processed by our payment partners. We don't see or store your full card or bank details.
- If a payment fails we'll retry and email you. If it still isn't paid, your workspace may move to the Free plan until it is.
- We may change prices. A new price applies from your next renewal after we've told you, never to a period you've already paid for.
Cancellations and refunds are covered by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
5. Acceptable use
You must not use the Service to:
- send people to phishing, malware, scams, or pages that pretend to be someone else;
- send spam or unsolicited messages containing our links;
- share anything illegal, including content that infringes others' rights or exploits children;
- hide where a link really goes in order to mislead people or get around another platform's rules;
- ship over-the-air updates that break the rules of the App Store or Google Play — for example changing your app's main purpose, or adding native code;
- try to get into accounts or systems that aren't yours, overload the Service, or get around its limits;
- copy or resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product.
We may disable links, releases or accounts that break these rules, without notice when there's a risk to people or to the Service. Report abuse to support@codeonair.com.
6. Your content and your apps
You own what you put into the Service: links, their destinations and previews, app bundles, configuration and so on. You give us permission to store, copy and serve it only as needed to run the Service for you.
You are responsible for your apps and what they do, for having the rights to the content you upload, and for following the rules of the app stores you publish in.
7. Your users' data
When people tap your links or use your apps, we process some data about them (such as IP address, device type and app version) on your behalf, so the links and updates work and you can see analytics. For that data you are the data controller (the “data fiduciary” under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) and we act on your instructions.
You must tell your users about this in your own privacy policy and get any consent the law requires. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect.
8. Availability and support
We work hard to keep the Service fast and available, but we don't promise it will never be interrupted — maintenance, outages at our providers or events outside our control can happen. Unless you have a written agreement with us that says otherwise (for example on an Enterprise plan), the Service has no uptime guarantee. Support is by email, and we aim to reply within one working day.
9. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk, or stays unpaid. Where possible we'll warn you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
When a workspace is deleted its links stop redirecting and its data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as payment owed, liability and governing law) still apply.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service, its software, design and the CodeOnAir name and logo belong to us. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service and our SDKs in your apps while you have an account. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the Service, with no obligation to you.
11. Disclaimers
Apart from what these terms say, the Service is provided “as is”. We don't guarantee that it will meet every need, be error-free, or that every link will be matched to every install — deferred deep linking on iOS, for example, depends on signals outside our control. Platforms such as iOS, Android, and in-app browsers can change how links behave at any time.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or ₹5,000 if you have paid nothing).
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud.
13. Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of your content, your apps, or your breach of these terms, you agree to cover our reasonable costs and losses from that claim.
14. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please write to us first so we can try to resolve any problem. If we can't, the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes we'll email workspace owners or show a notice in the dashboard at least 15 days before they apply. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply.
